Duties Description Administrative Duties
o Assist with training, scheduling and completing work status figures for the incoming mail unit, special handling and receiving mail unit. Oversee upgrades and troubleshooting questions, concerns or problems with the Pitney Bowes shipping and tracking systems Ensuring handbooks are updates and staff are properly trained in all areas. Overseeing several yearly mailings such as student certificates, monthly certified checks and yearly Revenue/Payroll certified mailings. Assist with processing and overseeing the new OSC internal ID system.
Fleet and Surplus Coordinator
o Work with the Assistant Director with the procurement and acceptance of new vehicles. Processing requests with DMV, OGS Fleet and Wex Gad cards. Renewing registrations for Management Services, Executive and Investigations vehicles. Reviewing and signing off on vehicle mileage and gas logs or Management Services vehicles. Verify and approve the Agencies surplus equipment. Engaging with OGS to determine the correct disposition for each item and schedule of deliveries. Communicating with Recycling vendors when needed.
OSC Office Supply Warehouse Inventory
o Oversee stock orders, verify quantities , update inventory, correct errors, communicate with vendors or warehouse staff. Monitor reorder reports and replenish inventory as needed. Complete yearly inventory counts of the warehouse and conduct miscellaneous counts throughout the year.
Minimum Qualifications You must be currently reachable on the appropriate eligible list for this title or eligible to transfer to this title under Section 70.1 of the Civil Service Law.
70.1 Transfer:
For a 70.1 transfer to a(n) Office Assistant 3, SG-14, you must have one year of permanent competitive service in an approved 70.1 title allocated to a salary grade 12 or above.

Appointments via transfer must not result in a second, consecutive transfer with an advancement of more than two S-grades or one M-grade.
